I accepted God in my heart, and he brought a lot of happiness into my life. First, He filled my life with happiness because He made it possible for me to write this paragraph and share his great goodness with my readers. Second, I am grateful for so many blessings, such as the health of my family, and for allowing me to be a parent of an extraordinary girl. I have a beautiful smart daughter; she is four years old. I have a wonderful wife, and we have been happily married for nine years.
Spending Time with My Family
Nicolas Oviedo, Colombia, ESOL Writing II
There are many things that make me happy. When I am in a bad mood, I always listen to good electronic music, and it relaxes me and makes me happy. When I work on robotics, create, design, program, and construct autonomous robots, I feel very happy. Watching comedy movies and learning English also make happy. However, the most important thing that brings happiness in my life is spending time with my family. My father, my mother, my sister, and my brother-in-law are the best family in the world. We always laugh, have fun, eat, go shopping, and do everything together. These are a few things that make me happy.

I am from Havana, Cuba. The island of Cuba has a tropical climate. Havana is the capital of Cuba. The capital has a Spanish colonial architecture. The island is famous for its beautiful beaches. Varadero beach is the most beautiful. Tourists visit Cuba to enjoy the beautiful beaches and climate. The Cuba has very poor people. There are many people that dream of immigrating to the United State. I love my country and dream that someday I will return and see my family again.

Garden City is a little corner of Mexico. It is located south of Sonora and has 30 km of beach. In the first months of each year, the cold water whales get together to mate. It is a very beautiful site. The area was occupied by settler’s pre-Hispanic Indians Yaquis and was founded on September 15, 1905. Its attractions are: Tinaco Square, which is the symbol of the city, beach Cochorit, and a railroad museum. Garden City has a giant ancient cactus with more than three meters high located northwest of the population. It is a must see if you are ever visiting.

Guatemala is a peaceful country without violence where everyone lives as he can and wants. Its nature is totally beyond beautiful. It has many agricultural products, such as corn, coffee, beans, rice, bananas, coriander, and carrots. Half of the population of Guatemala is directly descended from the Mayans and many still retain their customs. You can combine a visit to Guatemala with a trip to Honduras to see more ruins or just relax on the beach. Northern Guatemala is full of Mayan ruins. If that’s what you want – you won’t be disappointed. It is rare to see wild animals in Guatemala.
Alma Veronica Nolasco, El Salvador, ESOL Writing I
I was born in San Salvador, El Salvador. El Salvador is the smallest country in Central America. San Salvador is the capital and the most densely populated city of the country. Spanish is the official language of El Salvador. El Salvador’s most important agricultural products are coffee, corn, sugar, rice and cotton. Some popular traditional foods are Pupusas and Tortillas. Pupusas can be from corn or rice flour which are filled with cheese, refried beans, or pork. My country is also located in a tropical place, so it is always warm. Many mountains and volcanoes can be seen in this beautiful country, too.
